will a 15 H2 get loud off of 1000-1200 rms some say there power hungury and others say you don't have to send anything near 2000rms to it so I'm pretty confused. It's a d2 which I noticed is more effcient then a d4 and 12's. What size net whould you guys suggest for a ported box. Orion's site suggest 2.25 w/o sub displacement which I was thinking was really small for 15's but it's also good becuase I don't have that much space to work with. Since the sub displacement is a whooping .5 cu:eek: so I was thinking about inverting it do these work well inverted how does it effect sound and loudness. And just for thought which one would you guys choose for daily 2 15' H2 off 2000-2500rms or a 12" solo-x off same power both ported both tuned 30-35hz

Well I have had bad luck with the h2s. i had 2 12 h2s running off of an 1800 watt amp so each were seeing 900watts. and one fell apart. just self destructed inside the box. the glue came apart on it and a whole mess of other things. I have heard simular stories from other people as well. It seems to me that the h2 is lacking in the craftsmanship department. so i would go with kicker just on that note.

thats pure distortion that killed your speakers. 20 bucks says your amp was clipping.

the h2's really want more like more like 1800-2500 watts.

dood just get off the thread seriously but I'm not going try to put you down since newbies really don't know anything about anything. Just put It like this simple terms the higher the effiency number the less watts it needs to get loud and perform well the more effecient the sub is.
