I did a quick scan of his posts myself and saw nothing banworthy IMO - but my opinion of banworthiness and the opinion of the same held by various mods has this odd tendency of not matching so well.

It also shows Showrides' last activity to have been around 1:30 this morning so this banning must have happened in the past several hours for whatever reason...

I did NOTHING to get banned. And I have already contacted a lawyer. I have taken a lot of crap over the years, but this was the last straw.
After spending about an hour on the phone with my lawyer and going over the evidence I have accumulated over the years, he seems very optimistic. He only gets paid if I get paid, and he said he would gladly take the case:yumyum:

I guess hate speech and constant libel isn't looked highly upon in our court systems. So a certain individual on here should be receiving a letter in the mail in the near future:naughty:

I'll assume that the above-quoted post and UCP's response to it means that it was Teh Jizm that banned you.

While I may or may not agree with the specifics of the banning (as I have no idea why it was enacted I'll reserve my opinion until I know more than I do currently which is, well, nothing) I have to agree with UCP here.

WTF are you going to use an attorney for?

What could you possibly sue for? You were disallowed access to an online forum that talks about car audio? I will assume you are aware that there are many such places on the 'Net and this is by far not the only one available or even the best one available by most accounts.

I might can sympathize with you about the ban itself being unwarranted (though again - until I know specifics I am offering no opinion one way or the other) I cannot say that you and your legal counsel pursuing any kind of litigation as a result is the best plan I've ever heard.
