Guns (phoneman)

well if anyone has a gun they want to get rid of.....hit me up sometime...i'm gonna be in the market of buying some before to long....wanna get me a few handguns and a few hunting rifles......would love to have a .50cal sniper rifle w/ a 60x scope........but i dont see me being able to legally get one of those......maybe my dad can get his friend that is an ex seal to get it for me....heh

I have a 50 cal Grizzly LAR ( no flash suppressor at the time ) . Bought it at a gun show about 5 years ago. Spent an extra $1000 on a Nikon generation 3 night scope. Shells here are $8.50 a freakin round for the bastage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/omg.gif.05aa02c3095d6ce9338996654eca0863.gif Took it to a friends house in the country to zero the scope. We used a laser scope guide but I don't trust them. Set up some bowling pins about 500 yards down range ( hillbilly target practice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ) Put the bipod legs down got down on the ground, flipped up the scope covers and got comfortable. Got the bowling pin in the crosshairs took a deep breath and let her rip. That had to be the biggest flame I have ever seen come out of the barrel of a gun. D@mn near wet myself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Looked down range for the bowling pin and one of them was gone. Figured sent it flying backwards. So I fired another shot at another pin. Big flame, then when I could see again the second bowling pin was gone. We hopped on the four wheeler to go view the carnage. Got down there and couldn't find the bowling pins anywhere. We searched for about a half an hour to no avail. I mean it's a freakin big a$$ white bowling pin how hard could it be too find. Kept walking around and we finally found the remains of one about 60 ft. away. Nothing but splinters, not even enough for kindling. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Haven't shot the d@mn thing since. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

$8.50 a rd??? ****!!!

but i bet it's fun..still too much $$$ for me to ever consider..but hey?!

10mm range gun? gotto go with phoneman on this..nice to have, fun to look at, but $$ to shoot. matter of fact, i am aware of only one place in my area where a person can buy 10mm factory's....

glocks are like jl audio.....great stuff, some quirks, cost way too much $$..

the only glock i have ever fired was a glock 22 ( for those who don't know, it's a .40sw, for those who did know, sorry)...muzzle flash was excessive, grip was nice, accuracy sucked, except at combat range (again, about 7yds for those who don't know..hehe) where it did a fine job. it also ejected the casings almost right back into my face, more then once in 50 rds, i felt the casing hit my shoulder.

we used to have a shop that would let ya rent a gun to shoot in the range, which is how i got my hands on the above glock...$25 for 50 rds, 4 targets, unlimited time and the firearm. that $25 saved me about $600....

anyway

steve, since this is ur thread, and if it's not too late..u oughta poll to see what everyone's favorite rd, caliber is.....

10 to 1 says 9mm wins by a landslide..

mine...40sw baby!!

Ramos you will be legal to put a flash hider on sep 14 of this year. Its going to fell like independance day for me when that AWB sets on the 14 (or 13?)

My favorite caliber is 45 acp. Here locally if it doesn't say Smith and Wesson, Remington, or Winchester. You can get some pretty good deals on them. I bought a lot of 5 Springfield Armory 1911's for a $1000 Still new in the packaging. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

No shit? any chance you want to sell any?

I just bought me another gun tonight. I have been working on a internet deal with an individual for the past couple of hours. I will meet up with him this weekend to pick it up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/clap.gif.178cba2c538c68e720c727fcb024b19c.gif

Its a Springfield Armory XD357 4" black 357sig. Its in like new condition and I am getting a great deal on it. So now I will have 2 XD's, one 40sw and on 357sig //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

so how many you got now ?
I will never tell, muahahahaha. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

But I havent made it to the tripple digits yet.

To be honest with you I would just have to drag them all out and count them because its to hard to try and keep up with exact count

I have been collecting now for about thirty years. Mostly military weapons from several different countries. And I believe I have reached the triple digits. But not all are in firing condition. I have several M1 garand's that look like somebody ate them and $hit them back out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif And several different mausers that are in the same kind of condition as well. But they make interesting conversation pieces around the house so I keep em' . //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Not these, but I'm working on a deal right now for 4 Para Ordnance WHX1045R. One of which will be my new carry. But I might have one or two too sell if I can work it out. If the get the deal I'm after we're talking right at about $300 a piece //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Guns are like amplifier power too me.

There's no such thing as more than enough. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
