no, I'm sure it's somehow all Bush's fault, since there is a war going on... all the ammo is being sent over to the middle east, creating a shortage in the US, therefore the supply is low, and the prices are high...

But seriously, I remember when I bought a 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 at the gunshow for $80, those days are long gone unfortunately.
