yes, ive found my mini14 is an excellent med. range varment rifle.

i also know of a simple "thing to do" to make them full auto thats not a permanent mod but requires an adjustable gas block though.

Yea its a solid 250yrd gun. Just have to place you shot w/ deer.

I got used to making neck shots and droping them so I didn't have to deal w/ trialing. They just don't bleed w/ the .223

prices are getting crazy. i reload for my .308's and 270 as well as the 30-30.

i have some nice 130gr spitzer tips for the 30-30 being that its clip fed and they do the job very well.

i dont reload for the hand guns at the moment, its nothing for me to dump 500+rnds at the range in a hand gun but that would take me forever to hand load.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Yea its a solid 250yrd gun. Just have to place you shot w/ deer.I got used to making neck shots and droping them so I didn't have to deal w/ trialing. They just don't bleed w/ the .223

hell, i go for neck shots with the 270 and 30cals. makes it very quick and never, never have to do any tracking and it dosent waste any meat as well.
