I want to get a hand gun. I'm used to shot guns and rifles, but I want a hand gun to keep around.

I want a really good one, what you guys reccomend? Or what do you own?

this, but i have never seen a gansta wanna be carying a springfield 1911 though.

this is a good idea though, you can see what feels best in your hands and what you are comfortable with.

once you figure that out you can order one with options you may want.

Getting shot at was the scariest experience of my life. Most of these wannabe thugs have no clue except what they see on TV.

i was just being a smart ***. getting shot at is never, never good and glad to see you still here.

its people like that that give guns a very bad name.

people say that guns are dangerous, i say no. i can leave a loaded gun on my table all day, week, or year and it wont hurt a sole. they become dangerous when the wrong hands get at one.

luckly for us(the good guys) the thug wanna be assholes cant shoot worth a crap anyways.

if they have any taures pt pro series there, try them out. very well priced and compact and have a lifetime warrantie.

i also have a taurs pt-140 mellenium pro(40cal) and though i dont like it as much as the springfield, i would still trust my life with it.

Taurus makes a really nice gun with a great warranty. I trust my life to my Sig P226, I carry it every day (pricey, but worth every penny). I have a Glock 27 that I carry off-duty. I don't care for the feel of the full size Glocks, but I love my sub-compact.

I have shot all of these and give them very high marks.

Springfield XD Compact .40 or .45

Baby Glock 40 cal

Not much of a 9mm fan. I personally dont think they have the stopping power.
