Korine's "julien donkey boy" was the first American made dogma 95 film..

Its worth watching if you're a fan.

Plus it has Werner Herzog in it and Werner Herzog is a fukin god.

Werner Herzog is probably my favorite director of all time. He has an extensive catalog of amazing work. Starting with releases from the late 70s into the present day. You have to be able to deal with German subtitles though.. which is fine with me. 'Aguirre, the Wrath of God' is great... so is 'Fitzcarraldo' and 'my best fiend' is a sweet documentary. So it 'little dieter needs to fly'

He is an amazing cinematographer...

Todd Solondz makes some great movies too. "storytelling", "happiness", "welcome to the dollhouse", "Palindromes" are all really dark and really fukking funny.

well maybe that is the most disturbing part of the movie.. hmm.. i cant really decide.. the fat old guy peeing is pretty fukked up too.. as is the molestation and the cake eating scene.

Ok one more thing before i get my OCD under control... i actually knew someone who's uncle played Tate's grandpa in Ken park.. he actually had his uncle call me up and leave me a message... calling me a cheater... .just like he does in the movie..

or maybe it was liar.. its been to long i cant remember the direct quote.. but the actor who played the part actually called me and said the line to me.. i was stoked.. lol.

it will make more sense after you watch the movie.
