I just finally went out and bought a ps2 and guitar hero 2 because I wanted to try it so much, and seriously if there is anyone else left out there thinking about getting it ****ING GET IT.

It's absurdly fun. Easy and Medium mode is too boring to be fun, but after maybe 6 hours of play you can move to hard and its intensely joygasmic. Seriously such a stroke of genius to, at the final gig (level), have some dude in the crowd be like "FREEBIRD!", then a message pops up thats like "They want freebird!! Are you up for that?" then like 5 more messages after you say yes along the lines of "Seriously dude wtf are you thinking are you that ballsy?".

It's been a joke with my friends for so long that we were gonna start a band just so we could play a show and place someone in the audience to scream "freebird!" and just play the entire song flawlessly.

Whatever the **** I was just rambling about (St Ides + Old Thompson = St. *******), get this ****in game if you care about rock or video games at ALL.
