yeah of course, it wouldn't have been fair. 1) they were playing in detroit 2) detroit had plenty of rest, Miami played the night before 3) Shaq was a game time decision and obviously wouldn't be 100%.
To tell you the truth, the pistons ****ed up there entire chemistry when they made that trade with darko and arroyo

everyone knew shaq was gonna play, that is why he sat out against minnesota, and if home court was a determining factor, detroit has the edge there.

Not saying anything about homecourt. I simply brought it up that detroit was well rested, plus they were at home. Big difference of being at home, compared to being at home and well rested, when the other team has been on the road and played the night before.
