just got off the phone with mr. carrol from TB. very nice guy with a thick tennessee accent , lol.

since there is no dealer remotly close to me , i will have to order directly though him. and since they rarely do that , money order or check is my only option. and btw , the 8's are VERY cheap. cheaper than i would of thought.

he also recommended 1.3cuft @ 36-37hz but i will be ok with 35hz tuning.

the dual 2's are rated at 400wrms and the dual 4's are 300wrms , conservatively.

so , as soon as i get rid of my LI , im snagging one up...maybe two.

i was never impressed by their looks and ive always wanted to get my hands on a TB. they look very nice. i wonder how theyd compare to the tc1k 8" i had...

Truebass is the way to go. I said 140 or so but you may can get them cheaper going direct. Mine was a price from a local audio shop. They are actually made a few counties from me in tennessee. They make 3 different models and only 8's and 10's but make sure you ask for the ULTRA 8

he said the one he priced me for was the 'big one with a dual slug motor'. im assuming its the lil monsters that everyone raves about.

Never heard of truebass, but if they are made in TN, then they are fine.
