i blew my pico fuse on my pioneer and i tried grounding my rca cables to the chassis of the head unit and the noise stops......but so does the music??? wtf. any one chime in with info or what im doing wrong. every thread ive seen says ground the to the chassis of the deck. thx

I've heard pioneer decks are very famous for the RCA's to ground through the head unit if they dont have a sufficient ground and then when that happens your deck is junk.

I have a kenwood and all speakers where hissing bad at low volume.I found a little screw on the top back of the deck to ground everything cleared up instantly.

ok i got it. in my rush to get it done, i had all my rca cables plugged into the wrong amps/ outputs etc( im an idiot) and it sounded all crazy. but i did ground the cables to the chassis and no more noises. well about 90% less, but much better. LESSON. take your time and watch what your doing

i have a weird sound on mine. When its on radio its no problem. When its playing off cd or usb i get a kinda like really low vol white noise, or static sound hard to describe what would that be.

yea today i grounded my rca's and did nothing so i am removing that shit kinda pointless if u ask me
Pointless if you don't actually have RCA ground issues, you have another ground loop in your system.

Not junk, ground the RCA's and it'll work perfectly.

Solution = Stop buying pioneer crap until they fix this design defect.
Or you install the deck correctly and you won't have the problem.

nope no varrying. well actually only the right side i got to re run my speaker wire on that side since it runs right by the power and ground wire. Before i had the rca's by the power wire and had engine whine comming from both speakers ran that down the middle, power and ground on the passanger side and tommorow gonna run the passanger speaker wire down the driver side and cut across in the front.

I get a weird static white noise sound only on usb or cd not when the radio is being used though so idk.
