ground restrictions

i know cars differ but what is the ground equal too ? 4 awg?

do you think i could get away with 1500 rms through the ground ?

I've heard anything from 4awg to 2/0, depending on the amount of metal in the ground path.

1.5kW should be fine grounded to the frame, as long as your connection is secure and sanded down to bare metal for plenty of contact.

should be ok, like said though, and all cars will vbary slightly, just make sure that if your using 0/1 awg for power cable, to use some for the negative terminal on the battery to the chassis to ensure there are no restrictions anywhere or to basically limit the amount of resistance in the entire path

and even better, do the big 3 in 0/1, if you havent already
