Ground and power wire accidently touched but weren't connected to the amp

As I was installing my Alpine MRP M1000 amp today the power and ground wire accidently touched and started smoking for a second but that was it. My amp turns on but the subs weren't playing. Did I blow or short circuit something? I don't know how I could have since those wires weren't connected to my amp or maybe I just didn't connect the other things the right way. Any opinions?

I think like a yellow spark...i don't even remember if there was a spark, but it smoked for a few seconds and that was it.

I just checked my amp with a volt meter and it showed 12 volts so i guess the amp is fine, I assume just didnt connect everything right.
