Grinding noise when starting?

When I started my truck there was this loud grinding noise, and it took longer for my truck to start. I put in a Yellow Top a couple weeks ago and this is the first time it has happened. What could be causing this? Maybe just the cold weather (about 20 degrees)?

Well I went to my mechanic and its the starter.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Its gonna be about $160 total with labor.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

Buy the starter and do it yourself. All that holds it in are 2 bolts and a wire. Takes about 20 minutes on most cars, unless you like paying a mechanic $300/hr.
the starter it self is like $100 plus 45 in labor
