Grinding noise when starting?

When I started my truck there was this loud grinding noise, and it took longer for my truck to start. I put in a Yellow Top a couple weeks ago and this is the first time it has happened. What could be causing this? Maybe just the cold weather (about 20 degrees)?

yeah but im pretty sure the previous owner put a new starter in? I'll find out for sure.

Would it just start to do that or would I of noticed it before?

It did it agian this morning. Took two tries to start.

Buy the starter and do it yourself. All that holds it in are 2 bolts and a wire. Takes about 20 minutes on most cars, unless you like paying a mechanic $300/hr.

go find one online or a junk yard might be able to find a still good starter do the work yourself not worth paying someone to do it .
