First off, my name is Kwammi. I've toyed around with car audio for about 20 years now. Ive tried just about all of the "big" names. Now I'm really learning about this life. I'm looking to upgrade from my toy system to something real. My initial mind was to run a 15" Hds300 on a Brx2000.1. The only other 15" sub I've ran was a L7 on a Crunch amp. Sometimes I miss that set up. I've always sworn by 12" and would hate to make a switch only to regret it later. Would I do better with the15, or 2 12's? If 12's, which ones. My budget is $600.00 for sub(s) and amp. I'll jae the box custom built. Im very open to suggestions and constructive criticism.

I drive a 2007 Impala SS. Love my car!!! I'll have pics up later. I try to research before I buy and kept getting led to this site. MyLows, you give alot of good advise. This winter made me want to leave!! But, I've had all the toy brands, MTX; I liked the 7500 12's in a ported box. Their amps were garbage. JL Audio, early 90's Autotek,... My thought process right now is to build the last system I put in this car! I was back and forth between 2Type R 12's and 2 P3 12's. In doing my research I ran across Soundqubed!!! That sparked an interest into the unknown. I was set on 2 HDS 12s on a BRX2000.1. Then figured I could save a few bucks and go with 1 15" on the same amp @ 2 ohms. I know I'll have to upgrade wires, currently running 4g. and possibly add a power cell. I'm NO LONGER a "Brand W***r." And working with a budget of around $600.00 on amp and sub(s). I have a guy ready to build a custom box for whatever I go with. Advise. Please.

Any suggestions on what 2 12" subs to run on a ppi 1800.1. I have a builder waiting on me to make up my mind. I'm ready to put him to work.
