Great Design Idea!!!!!!

Ok well ive been jotting designs down on my paper for awhile now, and I came to this, I have a 1991 mustang lx 5.0 and its hatch and I was thinking "well hey if I take the carpet out, take out the spare tire, and I could make something were the fiber glass fits right into the freaking spare tire spot" well if it has been done already can someone give me a picture or maybe some blue prints because I've been wanting to just make a fake floor but hell this is a good idea specially comming out of my mind please leave constructive comments thanks!!!!

My friend actually did that with his '00 mustang cobra svt, although it isn't a hatchback. He's got 3 MTX 8000's in there and it hits pretty hard. No pics though, he had a shop do his. I know what you mean, but like this is going to be for show only, because im thinking about getting a dominator kit from wingswest.com but different wing and color, and rims

Yea its a "lx dominator kit" 10 peices doesnt include the hood, or wing, but im happy with my wing i got and the hood im soon to get

Lots of people take out their spare tire to mount subs in there.

tommyk was right though about losing the spare.

Tglisson, hey, didn't you also say that you had a civic? j/w.

gellis4 I have a 320 5.0 engine into the stang //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif over 3 grand I was lucky to have such caring grandparents at the age of 15 what the hell am I talking about grandparents are always RICH! lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and im not ricing out a mustang i wouldnt be cought dead, and yes I have a 1994 civic SI but I havnt customized it, its my winter car... Me and my father also have a 1960 impala with a cevy big block in it

http://www.caraudioresources.net will have a lot of tutorials on fiberglassing the spare tire well. Go to that site then to the tech page and look under fabrication. Good luck.
