Gratuity fees at restaurants

The reason for it is because the waitstaff has to work their *** off on that one table, and can usually not be able to pay much attention to other tables. Obviously, since there are so many cheap ****ers(^^) around, they need to do this. FYI, standard tipping practice is 15 percent, I usually tip around that unless service was very good or very poor. If you cant or wont tip 15 percent, you shouldnt even bother going out, it should be considered part of the cost. waitstaff make subminimum wage BTW, I'm not sure what it exactly is anymore, but it was like 3 bucks and change before this last minimum wage increase. Try survivng on that.
I know, but they should just be paid normal wage and not expect tips and just do their job. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Not the waitstaff fault, its the restaurant. waiters have no choice in the matter, except not to work there

Yeah, what really blows my mind are Sonic waitresses. They expect tips. Seriously, wtf do they do at that job that requires a tip?
This one too. I rarely go to Sonic anymore because they expect tips. I worked at McDonald's for 5 years and got 2 tips of $1 each. You just don't tip fast-food workers

Its not my fault they took that job?

I didnt get tipped at my lifeguard job and I made sure retards didnt drown themselves or kill themselves on our slides. And if they did, Im trained for cpr and all that shit.

Why dont I get tipped?

refill your soda, fatty
I honestly don't know, I don't ever eat there. But my girlfriend does, and has friends who work there, and she says that they all expect tips.

One of her friends works at one location that pays normal minimum wage and she still expects to get tips.

They get paid shit. We're talking $2.XX shit.
I serve people food working at a movie theater, get paid a normal wage and don't expect tips. Why should a fast food restaurant be any different?

Because you got paid minimum or above minimum wage for your job. They dont. If you dont like it, dont go out to eat then.

Exactly. I even have to get refills and deal with a hundreds of customers at my job, I don't get or expect tips. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
