The MAGIC THREE (Down)Grade

What's up kids? After typing 'ghettoinstalls' on Google, I was amazed to see how many people talk about this site on Car Audio Forums. Alot of people seem to like it.. on the other hand, a lot of people don't agree with a lot of things-- especially the controversial "Magic 3" issue.

They still think it works. If you're one of these people, I hate to piss on your parade, but, NO it DOES NOT WORK!

I'm gonna let you in on a little secret, son- The "Magic 3" as you all know, was 'coined' in by some guy in an Import Magazine article who was also at the time, was trying to market the 'Grounding Kit'. I have installed SEVERAL grounding kits on MANY MANY cars and felt absolutely NO DIFFERENCE.

Not to mention... the BULLSHIT NAME... Magic 3.

What's next? Instant SPL?

Among the "Magic" 3 wires.. there is only ONE that 'might' make a difference-- that is the 1/0 awg wire upgrade from the (-) post to the frame, only because the stock wire is only 8awg, but the other two wires are basically USELESS-- to upgrade the alternator wires with a 1/0 awg is like saying that making a wider road for Geo Metros will make them run faster. THE ALTERNATOR CAN ONLY DISH OUT SO MUCH CURRENT.

We will discuss this issue later in FULL DETAIL in accordance with the law of Physics to back my statements up, PLUS pics of installations that NEVER WORKED using the 'Magic 3'. Until then, if you still believe that your oh-so-smartass upgrade works, then you're making a fool of yourself.
