No, but I havent had it too long.

The only "issue" I have had are long starts, but with the mileage on the car it is probably due for new plugs, coils, and spark plug wires. Other than that though it runs great. Absolutely no low end, but the high end screams. I have a hard time telling whether or not it is as fast as my 350Z was, I think it probably is, just doesnt seem it with the struggling low end.

Rotors are FTW. The RX-8 kinda grew on me. I prefer the RX-7... but the RX-8 is a nice sporty car.

Thats one of the reasons why I stopped considering it for my next car. I haven't test driven one but I heard they are only good at higher rpms. I guess its a good track car but I don't think I would be as happy with it on the streets compared to a 350z.
