Well technically my wife did (she is preggo and we needed a 4-door for the little one). Anyways, stereo will be going in:

2007 Dodge Nitro 4X4

I realized that I haven't been following on Double din and I will be needing that. Also going to go with a sub and amp combo with new comps all around.

Yeah, I agree about the plastic. v6 as well. Pretty horrible on gas but she is going to drive it about 5,000 miles a year (no lie)

If we could have afforded a Hummer, we would have got that LOL....gas mileage means nothing.

Nitro's are not too bad. I am a Dodge fan, but I like a beefier look, and latley dodge has gotten away from that. The Nitro is a good looking SUV for a street look, but the 1st gen Durango's are better for a beefy look, which is my style.

I guess I am a dodge guy as well. I just didn't realize it. I had an avenger, then a stratus, now the nitro.

I think its an aquired taste. I like the design and so far I'm liking the ride too. As far as audio, i'm thinking double-din navi, I'd like to find another Symmetry...going to use my spare amps since no one bought them (us amps 4085 and usamps USA-150X). Comps will most likely be RSD's in the front and I'll use my AA Poly Mids in the back and cut them around 1.5 or so and let them play low.

Sub, I'm pretty sure I'll be going with a single SI BM when they come out.

I need some suggestions on double dins though. I'd like to stay below 600. Perhaps I am dreaming. I need ipod connection, bluetooth (i'd like navi, but can live without if it just is not possible for close to that amount).
