got some new cd's today...

well for myself, as a producer, i respect the rick ross album a lot because the majority of the tracks are made using synths as opposed to using all samples...now im not diggin on samples, i have always used them and will always use them but the true test is making your own sounds, and there are a lot of them on that album...im not a big fan of the southern style isht, but the album is pretty good...and that push it to the limit track just kills it, just when u thought scarface couldnt be sampled anymore, it happened...

i just got my record pool stuff my from wife, got the new jedi mind tricks cd, its aight, vinny paz is vinny paz...but that vietnam track with r.a. the rugged is NASTEE and the heavy metal kings with ill bill is banans...turn that track up on your system, it bangs...
x2 been listening since last tuesday

that push it to the limit song has that one part of the songs with that bass drop that is ****ing sweet, first time i heard it i was like "well okay this beat hits pretty hard then that drop and my face was like...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif eargasmic i tell ya! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif

well not everyone uses fruity loops, as a matter of fact not too many of the big guys do, reason is more widely used by the bigger names, like marly marl n so on, 9th wonder still rocks fruity loops and now pete rock is into it...most of the southern pros use a motif or a triton to do their tracks...and of course the mpc2k is a multipurpose item, ive made my own dirty beats using a motif rack and a mpc in less than 5 minutes...they seem easier to make, but for guys like cool n dre and JD and big boi, its a little tougher cause they get mad experimental for their craft...im a drums man, if i can flow on the drums, then i ride with the samples or sounds...
