got shipped the wrong parts and compant is being gay!!!

ok so last week i ordered an o/r X pipe and catback for my mustang... it was supposed to arrive today, but they sent me the wrong thing... all i got was a completely different X pipe... so i call them immediately and the guy says that i need to go to their website and fill out a return request... so i was like ok fine... when are you gonna ship me my parts i ordered? and hes like should have it out by the end of the day....

so that was around noon i submitted the return request... its 3:35 now and i havent heard anything so i call to make sure it went through cause i want to get this taken care of today... and the person i talk to this time says it may take up to 48 hours for the return request to process and there is nothing she can do about it..

so im sure some of you have been in a situation like this before... is there anything i can do? any tips on how to demand a discount or any shit? or get them to ship me my parts i ordered overnight or anyhting

i mean it just fucking sucks being inconvenienced because of someone elses error... i havent been able to drive my car because the exhaust is broken, and was all excited about getting it fixed today, and now because of some dumbass, it might even be another week before i get it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif /rant

That's pretty much the way return authorizations work...

If the company wanted to be nice they could sent you a pre paid shipping label so you don't have to pay for shipping.

Be nice and ask to speak with the manager.

well i expected my parts today, but they messed up.. ok it happens... but i let them know immediately, and i dont see why they couldnt have just had my correct stuff going out by the end of today instead of screwing around till tomorrow or thursday...

i know there's probably nothing i can do but wait.. and keep bummin rides for another week or however long it takes them to get this straighted out

and i sure as hell hope they are sending me a pre-paid shipping label if they want their other part back... im not paying to ship them a 40lb part they sent to me by accident
