Not a fan of the woven leads, can cause problems as well as weaken the spider. Sewn down leads are fine, but woven are pretty bad.

I got 3.5 @ 38Hz Kerfed that I was gonna put it in if i ever got one. Now im stuck w/ my DD 3512.

I didnt know they were woven. Whats so bad about it? Ive seen btls with **** up cones too. =/ shit happens when ya beat on a sub.

Yea, the BTL isn't the best either. Woven leads compromise the integrity of the spider and weaken it where they are woven. Also if you break a leaad there is no way to replace it properly without a recone.

WTF are you talking about, these don't even appear have "woven" leads. From the subs I've owned, I've never once had a woven lead fail on me.

Also, even if you break a lead on a regular sub, most people are incapable of fixing it properly anyway........................

i burned one once , old d2 clippin the hell out of a 3515c and ive ripped many many more tinsels.........my choice is woven tinsels........

To my knowledge we have not had a single failure in the lead wire system on the AQ subs. This includes damage to the spiders or cones. No ripped spiders, no lead slap damaged cones or spiders, no broken lead wires and no lead slap. I've not had a single claim or phone call.

now thats very good to hear , ive ran 9515s for 3-4 yrs now and had other dd subs, i think the designs pretty **** good.........

also ive only seen the one i poped blow the spider/tinsel..... dirty *** d2's............lol........
