Got my Havoc today

I ordered a 12" Havoc thru Pipo Sanchez and picked it up today. That thing is a beast of a sub. Weighs 40 lbs. I guess the one I got is a little different than the ones on the AA website. First, the basket is black instead of white. And the motor is a UFO shape which is different too. Oh and the spider is yellow. Same cone. Can't wait to hook it up. And Pipo is a cool guy. He said he has 16 of these in his truck which is about 700 lbs. He said he uses he older model though.

I'll post some when I get my hands on a camera that's better than my phone. I took a few pics with my phone but they didn't come out well. Anything specific you would like to see? AA said the build time is 14-21 days plus another week to ship so 3 weeks wait. I got mine in a little over a week. I guess they had it in stock, or they really like Pipo. BTW, when I talked to a guy at AA, he said they are launching a new website in a couple weeks. He said you should be able to locate dealers thru there.

Ok give me a day or two. Do you guys think I should stick with my RF P1000bd or upgrade to a T1500bdcp? Thx for your help dirtyunclerandy. You helped with my decision on this one. I just noticed what your name breaks out to be Dirty Uncle Randy lol.

No problem man. Always here to help. If you do upgrade amps, I would look at something else. The bdcp is a current hog and better can be had. What configuration is the havoc.

you have to have power to make power. current hog is laughable, you want it to take current to make the power, if it doesnt then your not getting the power.

you have to have power to make power. current hog is laughable, you want it to take current to make the power, if it doesnt then your not getting the power.

Some amps are a lot less efficient and have to pull a lot more power to make that same power. I'm sure you already knew this, but I figured I'd spell it out. He was probably just referring to it as an inefficient amp.
