Got my hardware for RTA; questions getting started.

A couple things I wonder about and couldn't find info on:

1. When you start the pink noise track, does it need to be started by a remote so that you're outside the car? Do you have to hit record on the laptop the same time you start playback?

2. Do I play the pink noise track at 75% volume like I would when I set gains?
