Got Metered- 1 12" MT

well went and got metered this weekend....i decided to borrow an amp and install the other 12 just to make sure its not like the first one...so tested it all out and it worked!..so i put it in the box that MountanierMan designed for me...borrowed one of my buddys west coast customs d5000(2500d)...took it to a local shop, they were using the audiocontrol 180db, did a 144.0 with the back seats down at the dash on the passenger side...thats with no big 3, no extra battery, and stock alternator....not bad for 1 12" woofer though.

slot ported, 2.5ft^3 tuned to 35Hz....wired to .7...ill go get the exact box design though and post it.

not bad man. i don't think i've ever been more impressed with a 1 sub setup then in my old jimmy, that 148.4 was nice, especially with the watts i used. nice box design though.

yeah i was pretty happy with it..especially since that is only my daily box...im hoping for around a 148-149 with a good electrical and different box....right now though it is louder than most set ups here locally with 2 12's and even 3 12's.

yeah mine was that way. was the 3rd loudest at the comp, the other two setups were 2 15"s with 3kw, and 3 12"s with 6kw. my single 15 L5 had 700w on it lol.

should def be louder than that. i'd try a diff box. amp is at 1ohm right? on the a/c 180, score should be more than a 144. maybe closer to a 50 is wha i'd think it should be doin.
