Better than everyone
my uncle called me up today and asked if i wanted some old speakers he had so of course i said sure well he brought them over and theyre old infinity tower speakers but the 4 8inch bass drivers had been replaced with some local shops speakers. i pull them out to find one is separated from the spider and the other 3 are in mint shape. now im looking at them and realize they look **** close to the RE8's (shop is called Speaker place USA, right here in rochester)
now my digi camera isnt charged but ill get pics as soon as i can but i decided these might be some nice midbass's for the front. Heres the specs, let me know if you think theyd serve the purpose.
SP-88A
Freq Resp. 38Hz-3kHz
Fs: 38.29Hz
Vas Cu Ft: 36.25 (this number confuses me, maybe a typo)
SPL 1w1m: 89.8
QM: 10.07
Qe: 0.47
Qt: 0.45
Xmax 7.3mm
Magnet: 28oz
VC diameter: 1.5in
Rms: 100w Peak:200w
now idk about Q's and such but at 100w rms seems decent to me and the freq response looks like itd be mint to cover between my subs and my 5.25's, only problem is theyre 8ohm so id need a decent 2ch amp id imagine
ill get pics of them up as soon as i can but they sure remind me of RE8's
