Got a Steal Today! but....

I have been looking at upgrading my H/U. I have the Pioneer DEH-P7000BT, Its an alright H/U nothing really special, not alot of features, boring display, and a whack *** 3-Band EQ.

So today I looked on my local craigslist and found a brand new Pioneer DEH-P980BT for "a Steal price" lol! I wanted this H/U a couple years ago.... 5V pre-outs, and 16 band EQ, Color Display //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif I was so happy! The sound quality is sooo much better also.

But then the downside... What I do miss about my old H/U is the direct USB hook-up, which I could hook my iphone directly into and control through the radio, and also charges my phone. With the new radio I have to buy the Ipod control for $50 and it doesn't charge my phone and it doesnt have USB input either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif, so I guess I have to take the good with the bad... Got a great deal on a H/U just wish it had USB support!

I had the same headunit and absolutely loved it the 3+ years i had it... but.... usb made me change my mind as well! Nice unit though! Flip it and get a new one!

RIGHT! But I'm going to see if I can find the ipod control for cheap and see how it works and if I like it, but besides the USB and ipod controls, I love this H/U.. I have been dying to go back to an H/U with a full EQ

This means nothing imo. So what if I got a US Amps AX2000 for 150 were is it written that I have to sell it for that let alone give a crap if folks know I paid that much when I go to resell it?
