so i decided to start working on getting some shyt done on my car. i scrapped all the ideas i had about putting the speakers in my doors so i wouldn't have to chop my door panels. Istead i decided to make a little custom box to put on my ****** hump with 2 memphis 15-ST40's in it. here's some pics of what i got done so far today

when its all done the sides will match carpet color and the top will be woodgrain

should be pretty slick looking. more pics when finished. still waitin on my **** viper 1200 from f'n ikesound.

didnt u use resin for the mold? why not resin the joints of the box, after hot gluing them, that aint gunna hold.

lol---it aint done once i get the mold dried i'll hot glue it to the little box then glass the whole outside of it.

i KNEW this was going to happen...that someone would say that's stupid or that won't work.blah blah blah. if noone ever experimented where would car audio be today? sorry if i don't except the "norm" and chose to do different stuff with my car.

in your opinion---like i said before its not the only speakers i have up front. i already hooked em up and positioned them to listen and i think they sound great so....

i think its cool your experimenting, its different for sure and we always say each car is different so maybe youve found the perfect setup for your car.
