no you call 1-800-goog-411 and say the name of the location and buisness type. It will tell you names of that type buisness in that area and will connect you with them or text you the buisness info.

or i just text. the name or buisness to 46645.. and i get a text back with the listing... bam!!!!... and it's very quick.. i get the message with the listing before i would even get to say the name of the place im looking for when calling...

a lot of people made money off of those dumb ads on tv "txt 2257 for a joke" and then at the bottom it says you will be bills $50.00 a month for activating the service..

i doubt google would do this but you never kno..

no i have been txtin google for awhile now and yet to see a change in my bill.. i hurd about google txt threw word of mouth..

give it a try send a txt too...46645, put. w ( then ur zip code) and it will txt you back within sec.. with the 5 day forcast.. and ur current weather conditions..

it takes like less then 30 sec from start to finish.. to get a response.. no talking to stupid computer's and operators

THAT IT IS...!! it's pretty dead on with weather too... there are little codes you use to get answers for diff things..i have yet to figure that out...

Holy krap thanks for the heads up, didn't know you can text in! They have a lot of different stuff you can do: maps, weather, listing, conversions!, etc, etc
