Im still trying to figure out how to effectively use google sketchup its a bit of a pain in the *** to get an exact measurement.

Say I want exactly 33 inches side to side on a box sketchup well since you cant enter the value you want you have to move the cursor until you get toe the approximate length you want but it always goes to say 33 1/16 as opposed to 33 even.

Anyone know an easier way to do what I am trying to do?

click line then click where u want the line to start drag ur mouse on what plane u want the line to go then type in the desired length

AH HA!! that's what I was looking for but couldnt figure it out and didnt want to watch the ****ing 20 tutorial videos from google sicne you gotta download them instead of just being able to click and watch

You can also measure it out and make a dotted line and just snap to that.

That's what I thought but for some reason the version I have wasn't letting me possibly because its a free version?
