well i'm in total shock. after detroit traded there most recognizable sports figure for an unproven journeymen, gave him the chance to make himself and build a team around him, also the city supported him and the team, won a championship, and he bolts for a few more bucks. well all i gotta say is **** you ben wallace and may your career follow the same path as grant hill.

chicago only offered 4 million more. if it wasn't for joe dumars and the detroit pistons, this guy would not be a 4 time all-star or defensive player of the year. the fans supported him like no one else and he leaves. i'd like to see rasheed slide to center and mcdyess start at power forward. definately more offense and mcdyess has double digit rebound potential, but neither are just the defensive presence ben is. i'm just shocked. i feel let down.

i knew he was talking to the bulls but i didn't think he was gonna sign. i thought he was gonna use chicago as leverage. of all the pistons he should've been the most loyal. he would've been nothing without the pistons. richard hamilton, tayshaun prince, and rasheed wallace all stayed loyal to the team and re-signed, but i guess ben wallace didn't see it the way i do. i feel like shit now after i supported this team and ben wallace even though he sucked *** at the free throw line during the playoffs, but i'm sure joe dumars has a trick up his sleeve

Flip Saunders = Pistons demise. I bet if Larry was still there you'd still have Ben Wallace and possibly another ring.
