Good Upgrade To Alpine 9855?

Looking to upgrade from the alpine 9855, the glidetouch isnt really something I enjoy. I would LIKE it to have red display as my interior is all red. I know the pioneers are mostly blue, but any recommendations. I would like to keep it under 450 dollars for sure. I want something thatll give me more options as far as eq.

The new Alpine IDA-X001 is awesome. I just replaced my cda-9833 and the sound is great and the ipod control is unparelled.

yeah but that unit doesnt take CD's, its sound quality options are crap, and its got 2v preouts lol
