Any good blues recording will really test your sytem's ability to accurately reproduce practically the entire audible spectrum. I have been relying on Kenny Wayne Shepherd's Trouble Is album (CD of course) when tweaking my system lately.

DO you happen to know any jazz tracks that feature a lot of double bass and drums? I'm currently trying to see just how BAD my subs are, so that I can convince myself to go ahead with an RE sub.

btw, handel's messiah on telarc CD was amazing at home. My parents have a large collelction of telarc CD's (think they bought it via mail order a long time ago, 100 CD's for the price of some number) and only now am I starting to realise the potential of those CD's...

oh, and if anyone is well-versed with classics, what's a tune with a massive brass section?
