how doesthat work?I can make that MOSFET amp sound just like that tube amp with a $5 resistor.
yessir, it is legit..
I saw someone today on the forum that was 25,000 so i decided to test mine.. I had no idea it was close to 40k lol.
Two things: 1) the 1200.1 is a mono amp and is therefore not bridgeable. 2) I've never seen anywhere that PG doesn't recommend running them into a 2 ohm load. IIRC they're stable down to 1 ohm.to the OP, most all of the mentioned amps are good choices, ill throw in the Phoenix Gold Tantrum 1200.1, they usually birthed around 1400+ at 4 ohm bridged and CAN run fine at 2 ohm bridged even though they say not too. I think for a SQ sub their are way better choices than the W7 though, but all this audio stuff is purely subjective so whatever sounds right to you is what counts
Yah im incorrect, its already "bridged" internally even though it has 2 sets of "out" connections. Two things: 1) the 1200.1 is a mono amp and is therefore not bridgeable. 2) I've never seen anywhere that PG doesn't recommend running them into a 2 ohm load. IIRC they're stable down to 1 ohm.
There's nothing "bridged" about it. It only has a single channel. Bridged is when two channels are combined to make a single more powerful channel. Since a mono amp only has one (thus "mono") channel there is nothing to bridge. The two sets of output terminals are electrically identical to each other and are only there to make it easier to wire multiple subs to the amp in parallel.Yah im incorrect, its already "bridged" internally even though it has 2 sets of "out" connections.
