Good RCA line converter

I'm looking for a good line converter to RCA output for my subwoofers. Im tapping off the two rear speakers, and im using the scosche SLC4 now, looking for something better.

It is cheap and the ratings for it are ******. I picked it up cause it was the only one at walmart (that should tell you there). Im having problems with higher bass tripping my amp and i attribute the converter to this.

The problem with your amplifier is not related to the input side(the LOC). It's because you had it bridged to 2 Ohms when it's not 2 Ohm stable. Fix that and your amplifier will stop "tripping".

Even when i have the loads right, both at 4ohms on seperate channels, they still trip when bass gain is up.

That's a separate problem. Please read up on how to set the gain. It's not there to give you a bass boost. All the gain does is match the input on the amp to the output from your source.

My amp does not have a gain setting, only my RCA converter, and there isnt any technical information on the gains, i can only do it by ear.

By bass gain, i mean bass boost 18dB

For now i turned down the RCA gains all the way to -, turned up bass boost(max of 18dB) and HU bass to +4 out of +6 (before +2 and up would kill it). So far it looks and still hits nice. Ill have to test drive it to see if it dies. X-OVER is set to 200Hz low. Sub sonic is at the minimum setting
