Good choice, excellent game. But my favorite for the PS2 was FFX.

lol MGS is not an RPG.

If he does expand his search beyond that genre, the PS2 library has the best back catalogue since the SNES imo.

Why not try an older MMORPG for the computer like Asheron's Call or Everquest? I believe they both offer free month long trials and free DL of the game.

I cant stand RPG games but one or two MMORPG's have actually kept my attention enough to play an hour or two a day for a couple months.
