Good pair of Coaxials?

Can anyone recommend a good pair of 5x7 coaxials? I have Infinity Kappas now, but I'm looking for something with a smoother tweeter. I listen to mostly heavy metal with an occasional rap song here and there. I tuned them down to -3db, but that hasn't really taken much away from the harshness of the tweets. I really don't want to get components, because I don't know how long I'll have my car for.

I know Boston Accoustics makes a plate speaker that acts like a component speaker. Has anyone had experience with those? I guess I'm looking for a powerful speaker with a smooth tweeter that won't get all jumbled when the guitars crunch. My budget is probably around $200 - $250. Thanks

But if you're getting "crunched" sounds with really dynamic music, that sounds more like you're using head unit power instead of a proper amplifier //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I don't really want to make any cuts, because I'm going to hopefully put the stock speakers back in when I sell the car. My amp isn't anything great, Audiobahn 6004T. I know it's not the greatest amp, but I got a really good deal on it.
