EDIT: FYI: one of them was the result of a super shitty mod.

It's on a webhosting talk forum.. this guy said he needed space for movie clips.. which I have right now ( http://acmovies.phroztnet.org/ /plug) and I showed him my current usage to see how my host handles movie clips.. as well as a link to my site and a user/pass to my stats page so he could see for himself how a site like what he wants to put up is going to be used by a host like mine.

All completely relevant. The mod deletes the post, but I didn't know it was deleted.. because my ISP has been so crappy lately that I timed out after each time I tried to post it. So i see that it's not posted and try again ... time out again.. blah blah.. 3 times.. then I'm banned.

I'm like.. wtf.. so I go to my email, and he sent me email warnings. I don't check my email that often.. so I have no clue that I got the warnings. Did he PM me after each time on the forum that I was actively on though??? nope. No warnings there.

His reasoning for deleting the post: "You should not have linked your site to the thread starter. Simply saying you were happy with the host would have been sufficient."

***SEVEN DAY BAN*** for posting EXACTLY what the thread starter asked for. And don't link my site?? Hi.. it's webhostingtalk.com. Sites are linked in almost every single post on there... wtf was that dood smoking?
