Stealing from charity .. i dont know about that .. but randomly finding stuff laying around .. is good. I think instead of just taking the stuff .. you should of did an exchange .. like leave something else behind since you took/found the car audio equipment.

My family always gives there with things we no longer need.....but I do like this idea. Perhaps I should drop of a few things soon. Didnt even think of this but....it is only fair.

Im glad you find it humorous. Its not an opinion. You took something that didnt belong to you, plain and simple. Do you even know what salvation army does? Have you ever thought maybe, just maybe they can auction that stuff off for a few bucks and put it towards a good cause? Do you know how far a dollar that you or even I may take for granted can go for those in need?

I dig through the trash at work sometimes for scrap wood and lowe's calls it stealing. I have to buy it for one cent. I wouldn't ever just take it. Even though it is in the trash, it still isn't mine. Plus, you stole junk. I might take it from a dumpster but not from the front of the salvation army.

6spd, you own a business, and I assume you have things you throw away, scrap x and y...would you fire an employee for stealing if they took it? Would you let them have it if they asked or charged them one cent like I have to pay.

I think they aren't as concerned with scrap wood as they are with employee a throwing away a table saw and employee b taking it from the garbage
