Good grounding spot? [pics] 56k don't bother

hey, i've only got like 3 feet of grounding wire and this seems the be the only place that might work, it's under the carpet that's under my rear seats when they fold up. It looks like the main frame of the car, but i'm just checking to make sure i have a safe ground . pics...

i already sanded...

any metal on the car is ok to ground to kuz it is all a ground just double and triple check that nothing is under the spot, and sand paint off as u have then use a self tapping screw with a star washer under the ring terminal and screw it in.

 
Looks like a nice place. I myself now always run a full ground back to the battery, but in the past have used places like such. i say go for it.

 
lift that carpet up a little more and see if you cant find some sort of bolt in that vicinity. its much easier and safer to use a stock bolt than a hole you are drilling.
