Good ground?

Yeah that would work fine. Take the bolt out and give it a good solid tap right there and see if it feels like a secure spot. Sand it down to bare metal and ground it and you're done.

Turns out i dont have a socket to fit the bolt so i cant unscew it. Could i drill a hole next to it and ground or should i find a new bolt?

You could do this for sure, and then use a couple small self-tapping metal screws, and drive them right through the ring terminal's edges to get a really good connection.

Just be sure you really sand down to the bare metal and seal it when you're done.

Uh, ick?

That is the halfass way of doing it. I would use the bolt for sure, no doubt about it. I would NEVER EVER use self tapping sheet metal screws, i have seen many a bad things with self tappers coming loose

I meant along with a bolt, obviously not using the self tappers as the only means of connections, just as an added measure.

Using a stock bolt period is the half-assed way of doing it... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

You have no idea what you're talking about. Unless you are going to compete and want to get as loud as possible, using a seat mount bolt like that will work perfectly fine.

seat bolt mounts and seat frame mounts have great bolts for good grounds.

Using self tapping screws along with a bolt, wtf is that?

Also drilling holes through the floor is a great way to start rust - FYI!
