just make sure that you have free updates when i got mine i found out that some dont offer that my tomtom has free updates its worth the extra money to get that otherwise you have to pay every year or update

Garmin Nuvi 200 or 205s can be found on ebay for like 60-100....There really great and simple to use. Got my dad one for Christmas because I sold mine and he really liked it.

the only thing about cheaper GPS is that they dont say the street name...and if im gonna pay ~$100 for one I atleast want it to say "turn left at 8th street" not just, turn left ahead

also it really helps if you are in a new area and are trying to find an exit

it will say "use exit 48B"

instead of "use exit"

with the really high up units you get MP3 playback, blue tooth, gas prices, etc

Thats what i was gonna say, the nuvi 200 or 205 is a good one. If you want wide screen and text to speech (says street names) go with the 255w. Dont get a tomtom, trust me.
