couple of us were talking about food on the gp thread and i run outta ideas for dinner all the time so whats good nothing spicy.. meatloaf, cubed steak, pork chops, pizza, bbq /pulled pork, chili, chicken and rice (all but pizza i do in pressure cooker) we eat these all the time.. i came up with this one get 2 cans of chicken open and warm in microwave (just to make sure it's cooked good) make salad throw chicken on it, it's like a $8 salad at restaurants.. so anything not to weird or spicy.. check out this video made me laugh

Can chicken is blah. Get one of those rotisserie chickens at meijers or Walmart for $5... way better then can chicken for salads and stuff.

Tater tot casserole are bomb

They got these slow cooker sauces that all u do is buy chicken or pork or your meat of choice and dump the package into the Crockpot with meat and it’s ready on a few hours. Simple and tasty

yeah tots are ok.. i make tuna casserole in oven with mushroom soup noddles and cheese, with potato chips on top., it's good (been a while may do that soon).. yeah i have 3pound bag of chicken i could cook some throw on salad but salad is actually time consuming so i do it with pizza or can chicken.. if i cook chicken i do it with rice pasta and veggies.. i do 5 pound pork roast in pressure cooker and we eat on it off and on for like 3 days $10..

One of my absolute favorites is cream of mushroom soup, hamburger, and ziti.

Literally just brown the hamburger, throw the can of cream of mushroom soup on, and mix in the ziti. I add salt and ghost pepper flakes. You have an elderly palate tho so skip the flakes unless you want lava in your depends.

what you like? i cook for sport. lol

i make this all the time,.. a bit rich in tomato, but i like tasty kibble;

two chicken hind quarters

one 28oz can crushed tomatoes (reduce by 50% for less acidity)

one 16oz can cannelini, black, or kidney beans, drained

one large chopped yellow or sweet onion

one 16oz can sweet corn, drained

one package goya 'sazon' seasoning

two packages store bought taco seasoning or your own preferred concoction of garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cumin to taste. i prefer my own mix, but store bought does fine in a time constraint.

add all to crock or slow cooker, cover and simmer on high for 3 hours or low for 8 hours, remove chicken quarters and separate meat, add back to crock uncovered on high for another hour or so to thicken.

serve with chihuahua cheese on tortillas lightly cooked on skillet with oil,.. sided with home made spanish rice and canned refried beans (home made refried beans takes alot of prep and makes a huge mess) cilantro, sour cream, and raw onion is optional.
