It's not bad. Sharp hasn't been as good since they stopped making CRT's, but still not bad.

Heck I'd buy it just for the "Built-in 20-watt stereo amplifier and two speakers

it'll be an alright tv, but it doesn't give an aspec ratio, which is the key stat your looking for a on tv when buying one, a 1\100,000 is an exceptioanl example, 1\50,000 avg. what it is, is the difference in 2 pixels, white vrs black, basicly. how sharp the immage will be, some things will matter for are things like watching football, but for watching your avg tv you will hardly ever tell the dif in most cases, the hrz effect the picture too. but you don't really have to worry about that all that much, their all mostly the same, the hrz will go up with the contrast ratio.
