good deal or dip off?

Fitting 2 12s in a proper ported enclosure in a single cab truck is probably a stretch. Not sure how much room you have to work with, but a ported enclosure for 2 12s takes up my entire ext cab in my s10. I don't see there being enough room behind a seat for 3.5-4 cf NET.
Which is not enough room for 2 l7's as they like massive boxes but many quality sub are out there priced well that wrk in 1.25cf per and assuming u build a good box and the power to feed them will impress u.

Oh u have a single cab truck??? Wooo best best is a pair of 8's..

Yeah L7s like 2.5+ if I remember correctly.. no way that's going behind a seat in a reg cab. Lol

OP, you may want to look into a nice 10" or you MAY squeeze in a 12" ported. I just can't imagine you being able to do 2 12s in a reg cab truck.

As a regular cab silverado owner, you are going to have trouble fitting only 1 12" ported... unless you don't mind losing leg room. I would recommend either 1 10" or 2 8's. I am about to put 1 10" in mine. And this is behind the seats.. if you take out the middle seat, it's a different story.

It's generally a comment made by ppl who joined the "Fuqq Kicker" bandwagon after joining the online community and began nuthugging online brands. I usually disregard it. They have no proof of an L7 sounding "dirty".
I have owned an L7 and I personally didn't like the way it sounded. It got loud, but it was peaky and didn't have a very smooth response. And it was in a very well built/design low tuned box. They just have a "different" sound from other subs I have used.

i think it can be done... just have to be a big box(height wise)... my friend had a single cab dodge. we built a box for 2 15s to go behind the seats, it was snug for the subs but it fit. we changed it and did 12's so he could have more leg room lol... but the 12's fit much better
