a working 7909 is worth a good bit these days, a 30th anniversary one even more since it's the copper chassis one.

I know someone who had 6 of the various 7909s back in 2000/2001 and I thought they were OLD back then. IIRC, he ran the 7909J in his IASCA competition vehicle because that was his favorite.

While that is a nice series, it is not worth $1200. I would import the new Pioneer DEX-P99RS before I would pay that much for an old Alpine.
