Good CDRW medias?

Taiyo Yuden and Mitsui make some of(if not the) best cdrs available. I don't know if the original poster is interested in cdrs though or JUST cdrws. Honestly, given how cheap cdrs are these days, I don't why anybody would worry about cdrws.

 
it sounds like your real problem is that your alpine is having trouble reading the mp3s. i have a 9835 and i had a lot of problem reading mp3s. my solution wasnt cds, it was changing my music format from mp3 to wma. wma's are much nicer cause they have the same sound quality and they are almost 1/3 smaller than mp3. for some reason the aplines strugle reading the mp3 compared to wma, and make sure to burn them at a lower speed. i usually burn all my song in wma format at 12x's. on a side note, i use kemper media cd-r's. $15 for 50 and they are durable.
