good at c++ / numerical methods / calculus? plz help :(

i'm writing a c++ program to find the roots of any given equation using the newton-raphson method. if you're familiar with this, continue; if not, you probably won't be of much help.

i need help writing code to find the derivative of a function. any help is greatly appreciated, and i might throw a little cash ur way

Do you have any code wrote yet? or a flowchart of what you need it to do? formulas?

I'm decent with c++, but me=shitty at math.
