Good amp substitute

The place I was looking at does not have the alpines so I ordered a

Hifonics ZXi6008 for 100 bucks less.

I don't care about it being compact.

It will be powering this

Do those speakers match with the new amp just as good as if it was with the Alpines?

So you got the Hifonics instead of the alpine to power speakers at the end of a dead link.

Hifonics should power the mystery speakers fine, probably not as good of crossovers and signal processing as the alpine has on board, but plenty of power there. You just want us to tell you that you didnt waste a bunch of money, ok, it will work. Get an extra battery with the loot you saved.

It'll work fine. Since it's a class A/B amp it won't be as efficient as the Alpine which is a class D, but since you only need ~100 watts out of it it shouldn't matter much.
